Join musicians from Burnley Music Centre and the Lancashire Youth Jazz Orchestra for an exciting concert with a Titanic theme!
The concert will feature a wonderful array of performances from the young people who come to the Music Centre, including string quartets, violin solos, samba drumming, guitars, choir and junior and senior ensembles. There will also be a performance from Lancashire Youth Jazz Orchestra.
The music in the first half has been inspired by the story of the Titanic and there will be a presentation of a commemorative violin made in memory of Wallace Hartley, one of the musicians on the Titanic, to one of our young musicians from Burnley Music Centre.
The concert is free but donations are welcome – drinks/refreshments will be available.
