We’re delighted to bring back our Jazz Camp for Girls
An unforgettable opportunity to discover improvisation, play in a band with other girls, and to develop confidence and musical curiosity for girls aged between the ages of 9 and 15.
Led by jazz musicians and educators Maja Bugge and Dave Shooter.
We welcome any instrument and vocalists and all ability levels – we do recommend you have been learning for at least a year to get the most out of the workshop. Jazz Camp for Girls is a gender-positive space, this means we welcome all girls, including those who don’t fit stereotypes.
Jazz Camp for Girls is delivered in partnership with Jazz North and inspired by an original project created by JazzDanmark and Copenhagen Jazz Festival to address the gender imbalance in jazz
