Join the Lancashire Youth Concert Band for their 40th Anniversary Gala Concert.
Formed in 1976, the Lancashire Youth Concert Band (LYCB) is one of Lancashire’s County Ensembles. The aim of the band is to provide opportunities for students from Lancashire schools and colleges to perform music from the wind orchestra repertoire at the highest level.
Each year students have the opportunity to take part in concert tours abroad. Recent countries visited have included Italy, France, Poland , Germany and Slovenia. The LYCB have also participated in the National Festival of Music for Youth and were fortunate enough to be invited to perform at the Schools’ Prom held at the Royal Albert Hall.
