Last Choir Singing

The Last Choir Singing is a choir competition for junior schools in the regions that fall under Lancashire County Council, Bolton Council, the Blackpool, and Blackburn with Darwen Unitary Authorities, and any private and independent schools in these areas.

It is the brainchild of George Critchley, Chair of True Bearing Chartered Financial Planners in Euxton, who wanted to give something back to the local community.

The competition provides children with a forum for learning new performance techniques and helps develop their musical skills. It encourages team work and builds confidence.

In addition, winners of the heats win £250 and the winner of the Final receives £1,000 in musical equipment vouchers. There are prizes for runners-up, artistic expression and also, at our Final, for the best newcomer.

Regional Heat are held in March 2019

Grand Fina in June 2019

We also run vocal workshops for teachers and a song writing contest.
