A celebration of music-making by young musicians. Douglas Music, Parbold, is delighted to present its third Young Musicians’ Showcase following the inaugural event in 2014. Young singers and musicians playing a variety of instruments are encouraged to apply. Normally applicants will be from 13 to 21 years and come from across Lancashire and the North West region.
The performers have the freedom to choose their own programmes and will be selected by independent advisors. Pianists will have the opportunity to play the Society’s 2000 Steinway Concert Grand. Douglas Music has a commitment to developing young musical talent and is confident the audience will enjoy a memorable evening.
