Bay Youth Voices

A fun pop choir for primary age children

Baybeat Streetband

Learn and perform upbeat Samba music, full of beats and rhythms, as part of the Baybeat streetband. If you want to try out exciting percussion or if you play brass, come along and make some noise.

Beatbox and Rap Workshops

Beatbox sessions are a great way to get children to engage with vocalisation, when they are more reluctant to get involved with singing. The four sessions also help to promote literacy skills, such as include poetic devices, for example, metaphors and similes; linguistic concepts such as phonetics, fricatives and plosives; and oratory skills, like delivery and confidence.

Become a Band Workshops

Perfect for 10-18 Secondary school pupils, but can be adapted to other Key Stages as well. Typically ran in out of hours clubs, lunchtimes and after school.

This inclusive and fun approach to music making provides all pupils (and participating staff!) with a positive experience of both learning an instrument and playing together in an ensemble.

Long Walk Chinese Orchestra

The Long Walk Chinese Orchestra is a diverse group of musicians who play traditional Chinese melodies on traditional Chinese instruments. There is a wide age range in the group, and the orchestra has a place for both beginners and more experienced musicians

A one-term recorder programme to introduce young children to instrumental learning. Recorder World is designed to be taught by classroom teachers using an easy-to-use, week-by-week online Charanga resource with optional online access for the children.

SEND Music Workshop

More Music’s bespoke SEND workshops are for learners of all ages with special education needs. They can run wherever you or your learners are based, either as a one-off courses or on a regular basis. Single workshops are great to introduce variation to routines and develop new skills.  Longer-term programmes – whether for a few weeks or for the whole year – allow significant, sometimes life-changing, progress to be made.
