Apple RTC: Course Dates

21st April 3pm – 5.30pm: Integrating iPads into your whole school curriculum. In person session, free to attend
If you have a set of iPads and aren’t sure how to make the best of them in your school, this session could prove extremely useful for you.
Chorley St James Primary in Chorley is an Apple Distinguished School, and make use of iPads across their entire curriculum. You’ll be able to see how they do this in this session and have some key take away ideas to implement this in your own school.
14th May 5pm – 6pm: iPad accessibility features – Online Session, free to attend
This free to attend event will showcase some of the iPads incredible features that make learning more accessible for those pupils with additional needs. The iPad is a fantastic tool that allows those pupils who may not be able to access learning in a more traditional classroom setting to engage with their subjects.
22nd May 9.30am – 3pm, Arthur Suite, County Hall, Preston: Composing for GarageBand on iPad – In person session, free to attend
Following on from last years extremely successful session, we are once again offering teachers a free CPD day, learning how to compose using GarageBand. The team will show you the basics of engaging with GarageBand and how you can teach your pupils the basics of composition in a digital environment, much of which can be transferred to more traditional composition methods.
2nd July 5pm – 6pm: Must have music apps for iPad – Online Session, free to attend
This free to attend online session will showcase some of the best educational iPad music apps and websites you can use in your teaching, and how you can integrate them into your curriculum.
