Apple RTC: Course Dates

11th December 4pm – 5pm: GarageBand 101 – Online Session, free to attend

This free to attend online session will introduce you to GarageBand on iPad, and get you more confident with navigating the platform, troubleshooting and give you some practical tips as to how you can integrate this into your curriculum music lessons.

14th May 5pm – 6pm: iPad accessibility features – Online Session, free to attend

This free to attend event will showcase some of the iPads incredible features that make learning more accessible for those pupils with additional needs. The iPad is a fantastic tool that allows those pupils who may not be able to access learning in a more traditional classroom setting to engage with their subjects.

22nd May 9.30am – 3pm, Arthur Suite, County Hall, Preston: Composing for GarageBand on iPad – In person session, free to attend

Following on from last years extremely successful session, we are once again offering teachers a free CPD day, learning how to compose using GarageBand. The team will show you the basics of engaging with GarageBand and how you can teach your pupils the basics of composition in a digital environment, much of which can be transferred to more traditional composition methods.

This free to attend online session will showcase some of the best educational iPad music apps and websites you can use in your teaching, and how you can integrate them into your curriculum.
