Lancashire Music Service Presents: Brass Day 2024!

Young Brass players of all levels and abilities are invited to a FREE Brass Workshop Day from 10am – 3.30pm, on Saturday April 20th!  The event, ran by Lancashire Music Service’s professional tutors, will be held at St Michael’s CE High School, Astley Road, Chorley PR7 1RS.

This workshop is completely free, and the day promises to be one not to forget! Young musicians will enjoy large scale rehearsals, sectionals, and classes before an informal sharing concert at the end! We welcome all levels of experience but you should have access to your own instrument.

We will also be welcoming talented student mentors from the fantastic RNCM Engage programme!

If your young person  would like to try a brass instrument for the first time we will run a short taster session in the morning, please just let us know when you sign up.

Please use the BOOK NOW button to register as places are limited!

What people say about our instrument days:

What a really fun day, made inclusive for young people of a wide age range and ability and lovely that it is free of charge. They sounded great too. Well done LMS.

Really pleased with it, my son has grown so much through socialising through music. It’s been amazing for him to build his confidence and really helped his mental well-being.’

My child was moved by the experience of playing amongst such a large group of musicians!
