This one-day course aimed at music leaders and educators teaches you about the creative world of Connect, a unique method for creating new ensemble compositions, developed at the Guildhall, London.
Sigrun Saevarsdottir-Griffiths, the Programme Leader, has been a part of many collaborative music projects in a vast range of community contexts for many arts and higher education organisations across England, Europe and Asia, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, to name a few.
Sigrun is a multi-instrumentalist (trombone, piano, percussion, voice) who has particular expertise in facilitating collaborative music making within specialist arts environments as well as in the community.
This course is suitable for those who teach in and out of the classroom.
