Are you interested in joining a band or orchestra to take your music talents to the next level? We are hosting a number of open days in June where you can come along and sit in our rehearsals, have a go and find out what’s involved. Our groups meet regularly throughout the year to take part in rehearsals, concerts, courses and overseas tours in the summer vacation. If you decide to join, you will get the chance to perform at venues across the county and festivals such as the National Festival of Music for Youth.

As a general guide, students need to be approximately grade 6 plus standard to join our youth bands and orchestras.
