John is one of the UKs leading music education practitioners and has worked with orchestras and organisations including the Royal Academy of Music, Wigmore Hall and the Philharmonia Orchestra.
As well as lots of practical ideas to take away with you, the session will focus on cross-curricular links including:
- Creative music making across a range of curriculum topics;
- Developing subject warm-ups and topic related materials;
- Finding ways to explore musical skills, techniques & creativity across various school topics and curricular links
The training is linked to HMDT Music’s TIME project (testing impact, measuring effect) which is working with 6 Lancashire schools across 3 years to enable schools to develop and explore ways of embedding the arts across the curriculum.
A great opportunity to develop your creative music making skills!
