This interactive workshop is aimed at music teachers and musicians interested in learning more about Indian music. Kousic Sen will demonstrate and discuss the foundations of Indian music and rhythms using tabla and dholaks to help inform your teaching practice and broaden your musical knowledge. Dholaks will be provided in the session.
As a performer, Kousic Sen is a tabla player whose intense and energetic performances add a new dimension to the traditional concert experience. His rhythmic mastery has become known around the globe through his performances with leading musicians in many of the world’s most famous venues.
