Our youth and school orchestras will be joining forces with the talented choristers of Ripley St Thomas School for and exciting programme of music in the beautiful setting of Lancaster Priory.
Repertoire will include Mozart’s iconic overture from The Magic Flute, excerpts from Borodin’s 2nd Symphony and the delightful serenade by Mathias, a Dvořák Slavonic Dance and Themes from Mahler’s 1st Symphony. There will also be a selection of choral music from Ripley St Thomas Chapel choir before the evening comes to an exciting finale as orchestra and choir come together to perform excerpts from John Rutter’s Gloria.
