Our annual conference returns this year on Monday 13th April 2026 at County Hall in Preston.
We are very lucky to be joined in the morning by Chief HMI for Music Chris Stevens, who has kindly agreed to present via Zoom on Assessment in Music, which is a very common source of frustration and questions for Primary Music Leads.
The afternoon session will feature an introduction to Kodaly Method, which is a tried and trusted educational tool for helping young children understand the meaning of pitch and how it can be associated with hand gestures (and much more!).
The cost of this is £65 per delegate for Lancashire and Blackpool Schools, and £75 per delegate for schools outside of Lancashire and Blackpool, with the added bonus that your headteacher or other colleague will be invited to remotely attend the morning Zoom session with Chris Stevens. Lunch and refreshments are included, and this is a brilliant chance to network with other Music Leads.
