Join young string players from across Lancashire for a free fun day of music making. Work with inspiring tutors and members of the Lancashire County Orchestras to improve your musicianship and ensemble playing skills and finish the day with an informal performance for your parents/carers and friends.
String Day participants will also have the chance to perform a piece as part of a Family Concert on Sunday 11 March, alongside the Lancashire Youth Symphony Orchestras and the Piccadilly Symphony Orchestra at Preston Guild Hall (participation is optional). Full details will be available during the workshop.
String Day workshop is suitable for all ability levels, from beginners to advanced players.
