Lancashire Music Hub are excited to announce the launch of a new group for young singers – Lancashire Jazz Youth Vocal Ensemble (JYVE)
Linked to our two successful County Jazz Orchestras, JYVE is a fantastic opportunity to develop new skills, exploring a wide range of jazz and soul inspired music alongside like minded young singers and under the leadership of professional vocalist and tutor, Debbie Jones. Members of JYVE will also have the chance to sing with the jazz orchestras.
To launch this new group, we invite vocalists aged 11 -18 years to join us for 2 workshop days and a short performance slot at one of our Christmas concerts. You will need to have some singing experience but the sessions are open to all and we encourage you to come along and give it a go.
Workshop 1 – Saturday 17 November
Workshop 2 – Saturday 1 December
Performance Saturday 8 December, St Cuthbert’s Church, Fulwood
Workshops are 11.30am – 3.30pm at Archbishop Temple School, St Vincents Rd, Fulwood, Preston PR2 8RA
