‘Just wanted send my huge congratulations for last night. What a triumph it was. A truly spectacular evening of music which really showed off all the amazing things that Lancashire are doing to inspire the musicians of tomorrow.
We were overwhelmed and humbled watching the performance. I don’t think there are adequate words to truly encapsulate the pure joy and elation that Harry exudes when playing as part of the Lancashire ensembles; we are eternally grateful for every single opportunity you have given him.
Please pass on my congratulations to the wider team. What you provide for our young people is life changing.’ J. Torbett, parent

The concert was supported by a large team of teachers, tutors, volunteers and Lancashire Music Service staff, whose dedication ensured that the day ran smoothly from rehearsals through to the evening performance. The event also welcomed distinguished guests from across the region and a particular highlight of the project was the involvement of former Lancashire Music Service students who returned as alumni performers, composers and supporters, demonstrating the lasting impact music education can have on young people and the important role it continues to play throughout their lives.
As the final notes rang out across the hall, the standing ovation from the audience reflected the pride felt by everyone involved.
