Microphone V 2.0
Microphones were one of the first pieces of 'accessible technology' used in specialist settings, and remain one of the most exciting.
They act as both amplifiers of the voice and instruments in themselves, changing and augmenting words and vocalisations.
They also support the development of language, singing and songwriting skills.
The Lancashire library uses 'iRig Voice' mics, which have the advantage of being able to plug directly into iPads.
However the activities below also work with a regular microphone and effects pedal.
