Success Story: Emily Hoyle: Viola

Emily started the violin when she was five, and joined Burnley Music Centre soon after. She began playing in the Lancashire County Ensembles at the age of 10, switching to viola at the age of 14, and was an active member of LYSO until she went to Chetham’s School of Music for her 6th Form studies.

Currently in her final year at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, Emily studies with the international soloist and chamber musician, Roger Chase.

Emily is playing on the new Classic fm charity track, ‘Steadfast’ with Katherine Jenkinson, Alfie Boe, Mylene Klass, Aled Jones etc. It has just gone to No.1 in the chart. View it on the Classic fm website
