We Need More Bass…

Our County Ensembles are getting off to a flying start this term, welcoming new members to our higher-level bands and orchestras, and also to our brilliant Inspire ensembles for total beginners.

But we really need more bass instruments:

These lower instruments really add the depth of sound and oomph to the ensembles – if you play any of these instruments please get in touch and you can arrange to visit a rehearsal (we don’t want to put off anyone who plays a higher pitch instrument – you are all also very welcome ?)

We can also offer students the opportunity to learn to play some of these bass instruments with our “endangered species” programme and after a few lessons, you’ll also get to play with our Inspire ensembles. For more information:
